08 Jan NYTG Collectively donated money and utilities to beat the COVID-19 situation in Samut Sakhorn Province
The Corona Virus (COVID-19) resurfaced in Thailand, during the last month of 2020, especially in Samut Sakhorn province, with more cases surfacing everyday. This has greatly impacted the economy of Samut Sakhorn as well as the surrounding areas.
On the January 8, 2021, Mr. Chatchai Chuanudom, General Manager of Omnoi’s Factory, as a representative of Nan Yang Textile Group, donated 20,000 Precau masks and 100,000baht worth of money. The donations were made to a COVID-19 relief organisation in Samut Sakhorn, with Miss Malee Jesadalak, Secretary-General of the Provincial Commercial Hall Samut Sakorn and Mr. Phumikon Mongkolmanipol, Chairman of YEC Samut Sakhon Provincial Trade Hall as the recipient, were for equipment and other supply purchases.
On the very same day the Provincial Chamber of Commerce Association Samut Sakhon donated 20,000 Precau masks to Mr. Surasak PhonyangSong, Deputy Governor of Samut Sakorn Province, to support patients of the virus and the COVID-19 relief workers.
